Laying Carpet Over Tile Floor

Laying carpet over tile floor. It is stretched in over the flooring with the smooth edging of the carpet glued down onto the tile at the perimeter and nailed into the grout at the nearest grout line to the wall on each side. One problem we encountered after installing carpet over the tile floor was the pocket door to the bathroom. Tile can be laid over existing tile as long as the floor is in good condition with no loose or broken tile. If you use the right materials and follow the right steps you can install carpet tile in virtually any space in your house.
